Background
Nurses are central to healthcare delivery, constituting
the largest component of the health workforce with over 20 million
professionals globally. Despite their numbers and critical role in health
outcomes, the economic contributions of nurses are frequently undervalued. This
conference is designed to bring attention to the economic impact of nursing, to
inform policy decisions, and to acknowledge the financial aspects of nursing
care and leadership
Aim:
To elucidate and appreciate the economic power
of nurses within the healthcare sector
Objectives:
- To
present research findings on the economic impact of nursing care.
- To
foster discussions on the role of nurses in healthcare financial
management.
- To
strategize ways of increasing investment in nursing.
- To create
awareness of nurses about roles and urgency in promoting clinical leadership.
- To
showcase innovative practices that enhance the cost-effectiveness of
nursing services.
